Meet the friendly staff at Oasis Veterinary Hospital!
Dr. Wendi Aengus grew up in Southern California spending most of her days hanging out with her childhood dog or on the beach. Wendi knew at a young age she would become a veterinarian. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Zoology, minor in Social Culture Anthropology, Master’s degree in avian Science and Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the University of California, Daivs. Wendi has practiced in the Bay Area since graduating.
She is a member of the American Veterinary Association, Contra Costa Veterinary MedicalAssociation, Veterinary Critical Care and Emergency Society, Association of reptile and Amphibian Veterinarians, Association of Exotic MammalVeterinarians and California Veterinary Medical Reserve Corps. Wendi has a strong interest in internal medicine and emergency medicine in all species. Her daily goal is to enhance the lives of her patients and their parents by providing solid communication and delivering quality medicine while navigating through the diagnostic and treatment options that best suit their families. She spends her time off running a house filled with five human children and various fur babies and reptiles. She enjoys archery, swimming, snorkeling, hiking and reading but mostly loves just relaxing on a beach.
